Remote computer support
What we fix in 15-60 minutes
If it's a software or settings problem, we can almost always sort it remotely. No tech in your house, no waiting for a booking slot.
Email not working
Won't send, won't sync, password rejected, inbox vanished.
Printer won't connect
Offline, won't print from your phone, driver gone missing.
WiFi keeps dropping
Often a settings fix, not a hardware fix. We check before you buy anything.
Office 365 login broken
Microsoft account locked out, licence expired, Word won't open.
OneDrive / cloud sync
Files "missing" but usually just synced to the wrong place.
Weird pop-up or scam warning
Before you call the number on the screen — call us instead.
Computer running slow
Startup programs, browser bloat, updates stuck halfway.
General tech questions
"How do I…?" Book 15 minutes and just ask. No question is too small.

Three simple session lengths
Nobody else in Auckland publishes these numbers. We do, so you know before you call.
Quick fix
15 minutes
One issue, one session
- Typical fixPrinter reconnect, email password, one pop-up removed, a "how do I" question answered.
- Time with the techA full 15 minutes on your screen, plus the call before it.
- If it runs overFirst 5 minutes over is on us. Beyond that we pause and ask before continuing.
The usual booking
30 minutes
Diagnose and fix in one go
- Typical fixOffice 365 login, OneDrive sync, WiFi settings, slow computer clean-up, "not sure what's wrong".
- Time with the tech30 minutes, including 5 to work out what's actually going on.
- If it runs overFirst 5 minutes over is on us. If it needs longer, we tell you the number before we keep going.
More than one problem
60 minutes
Several issues, one sitting
- Typical fixEmail + printer + WiFi in one session, a full tidy-up, or a device that's been annoying you for months.
- Time with the techA full hour, and we'll teach as we go if you want to learn it.
- If it runs overRare at this length. If it happens, we quote before continuing — no silent meter running.
No callout fee, no travel time, no per-hour surprises. Gold Card holders 10% off labour. After-hours and weekend sessions available on request. If we can't fix it, you don't pay.
The honest bit
"But do I have to install anything?"
No. That's the question we get most, so here's exactly how the access works — and how it stops.
No software to install
We send you a link. You click it, click "Allow" once, and we're connected. Nothing gets downloaded, nothing stays on your computer afterwards, nothing to uninstall later.
You watch every second
It's your screen. You see every click we make, and we tell you what we're doing as we do it. We never copy files or store passwords without asking you first.
End the session anytime
One click and access is gone — immediately, permanently. We can't get back in without you sending a fresh invite. No standing access, ever.
After the session
What you get after the session
Most remote support ends when the call does. Ours doesn't.
The problem actually fixed
Tested with you before we end the session, not assumed.
Screenshot summary emailed
What was wrong, what we changed, in plain English.
A how-to for next time
If it's something that recurs, you'll have the steps to do it yourself.
An honest note on the underlying issue
If the real problem is an ageing laptop or a router past its life, we say so — without a sales pitch attached.
7-day come-back guarantee
Same problem returns within a week? We reconnect and sort it, no charge.
Why us
Why Aucklanders call us
Kind, patient, jargon-free
Every tech is briefed to slow down, use plain English, never make you feel silly for asking. We'll write it down if that helps.
Fixed price, published on the page
$49, $99 or $149. You pick the length. No hourly meter, no "we'll invoice you later" mystery.
No callout, no waiting at home
You don't need to keep an afternoon free for a 15-minute fix. And if it does need a visit, the on-site callout is free.
Commercial-grade remote software
Not a free screen-share hack. Session-based access you control, and it's gone the moment you end it.
Small businesses use us too
Same per-session pricing for staff Office 365 problems, printers, VPN drops and cloud sync. No retainer needed — and no obligation to sign one if you end up calling often.
A real business behind it
Site Safe certified, fully insured, $5M public liability, Kiwi-owned since 2018. Gold Card holders get 10% off labour. On-site work carries our 3-year workmanship warranty.
For sons and daughters
Booking help for a parent? We handle it end-to-end.
Dad can't get his email working. Mum's printer stopped and she's been "meaning to ask someone" for three weeks. You've talked them through it on the phone twice already and it didn't stick.
Book on their behalf, put your card on it, give us their phone number. We'll call them directly, work at their pace, and email you a summary when we're done. Your card, their peace of mind.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
How much does remote tech support cost in Auckland?
$49 for a 15-minute session, $99 for 30 minutes, $149 for 60 minutes. Fixed price — no callout, no travel time, no per-hour billing surprises. If your session runs over 5 minutes, that's on us. If it runs over significantly, we pause and quote before continuing.
Do I need to install anything for the remote session?
No. You click a link we send you, click "Allow" once, and we can see your screen and talk you through the fix. No downloads. No software to figure out later. End the session with one click and access is gone.
How does remote tech support work?
You book (form or phone), we call you back within 24 hours (or right now if urgent) to confirm the time. At the booked time, we call you, send you a one-click link, and start the session. You watch us the whole time. Most fixes done in 15-30 minutes.
Is remote tech support safe?
Yes. You control the session — click to allow, click to end. You see everything we do on your screen. We use commercial-grade remote software (not free tools). We can't touch anything after you end the session. We never store passwords or copy files without asking first.
What if you can't fix it remotely?
Two options. If it needs a physical visit (hardware failure, cable, router), we book you a same-day or next-day on-site tech, and the on-site travel and callout is free — you only pay for the on-site work. If we tried and it can't be fixed, you don't pay for the remote session.
Can you help my parent / elderly relative?
Yes. You can book on their behalf — put your card on file, tell us their phone number and address, we'll call them directly. We're briefed for kind, patient, no-jargon support. We'll send you a summary when we're done.
Can you help my small business?
Yes. Same per-session pricing works for businesses (staff Office 365 issues, printer problems, VPN drops, cloud sync). If you find yourself needing us 3+ times a month, we can discuss a monthly retainer — but there's no obligation to sign one.
What's the difference between remote and on-site tech support?
Remote is faster and cheaper for software issues (email, WiFi settings, printer setup, Office 365, pop-ups). On-site is needed for hardware — a dead PC, cable install, router replacement, physical device work. Book remote first; if it needs a visit, we tell you in the first 5 minutes.
Can you help right now / after hours?
We aim to call back within 24 hours for standard bookings. If it's urgent, call 0800 222 546 and we'll see if a tech's available now. Evenings and weekends are available on request (after-hours may cost slightly more).
What if I don't know what's wrong?
Book the 30-minute session and pick "Something else — please diagnose". The first 5 minutes we work out what the problem is, then we tell you honestly if it's a quick fix, needs a longer session, or needs an on-site visit. No pressure to continue if it's not what you thought.
