Proof on bigger sites
Cabling For U is run by the team behind 369 Infrastructure. On the City Rail Link, that team installed Cat6A, fibre and access-control cabling and commissioned communication field devices at Karangahape Road Station under Ventia. It also supported Honeywell commissioning PA, access control and building management systems across the stations and tunnels.
Bigger sites mean site inductions, permits, safety plans and auditable test records. We work inside that every day, and bring the same discipline to a four-unit development or a new office.

Questions we get asked
Can one contractor do all the low-voltage on a new build?
Yes. We install data, fibre, Wi-Fi, CCTV, alarms, access control, intercom and shared TV cabling, and set up and commission the systems. One contractor means one plan for the comms cabinet and pathways, and one set of as-builts at handover.
When should we bring you in?
As soon as there are drawings, and before pre-line. The cheapest time to run cable is while the frame is open. Bringing us in at design also means the cabinet space and power are allowed for.
Do you work under a main contractor?
Yes, often. Our team has worked under Ventia and Honeywell on the City Rail Link. We're Impac prequalified and Site Safe members, and we work to the main contractor's site rules, safety plans and programme.
Do you work with the electrician?
Yes. We tell the electrician early where power is needed for the comms cabinet, cameras, access-control power supplies and the TV system, so it's in the right place when we arrive.
What do we get at handover?
Test results for every cable, labels at both ends, as-built drawings showing where everything runs, and a 12-month workmanship warranty.
Do you do subdivisions and multi-unit developments?
Yes. We design and install private fibre networks for developments, cabling and intercoms for apartment buildings, and shared TV for every unit.
